:-? OK! I have a 3-day weekend, every-other week (from time-2-time I can add days to that for a longer period). Would like to assemble a list of folks that want to form a "Group" so we can notify each-other of hikes so others can join in. This will offer companionship and assist in setting up shuttles.
Some folks desire "solo" trips and I undersatnd that, but for others, like me, we believe there is safety in numbers.
I live on the edge of Lynchburg, VA (Central VA), but all folks, regardless of where you live, are :welcome

Sounds great ! I have week-ends off unless i am on call ,would need advanced notice of a couple of weeks so I could request a day off. I might be able to squeeze a 3 day in late august ( 23-25). Im on vacation that week but it depends on when my wifes time off being approved and her plans.

anyone hike whiteoak or old rag on the regular? i'm graduating this fall and will be back in VA from dec to march 7th when i start my thru, but i want to do some winter hiking.

Alexandria Here. Still need to hike the central SNP. Have a good lady friend that is looking for other hikers as she won't hike alone. SO, the group groweth.

i'm looking to head out over 13 - 14 sept if anyone wants to link up. i have a tacoma with shell so i can take at least three folks and gear. was thinking to do a loop in the park or an out and back on the at from sky meadows state park.

Would love to, except I am heading to Maine the 15th for two weeks to tackle the 100 mile wilderness. Keep me in mind for later in the fall. I will be available to drive up from VA Beach and help with transportation (Ford Excursion- seats 7 plus gear).

Put me down I'm out in Wise at the college, can hike Friday Afternoons through early Monday mornings in most cases. I'm about an hour from damascus
I'm gonna be out hiking 601 north (north side of the grayson highlands) to bland virginia over the weekdays 9/1-5.

Will most likely hike harpers ferry south to Blackburn center for an overnight on Friday 29 August 08.
