So, what journals will you follow this year? There's a list of 2004 thru hikers around here somewhere, and a list of journals, but are there any other good ones not on there?
i will be following my own very closely - www.walkingnorth.com :)

Nice site. What did you use to build it? It looks like some sort of software you can update from the trail.

Yes, every year since I've begun backpacking, I've gotten "Springer fever" this time of year, thinking, "It's the start of another thru-hiking season". Don't know yet whose journal I'll nose into, although HH's and Bluebearee's will most probably be on the list(wow, the Colorado Trail; that will be something very different!) Since I will be making some very major transitions in my own life in the next couple of months, I am dropping out, starting tomorrow, to go backpacking for about a week!! Hopefully, tomorrow I will be on the trail again, with a fully-loaded backpack, for the first time in 16 long messy months!! Maybe I'll meet someone from whiteblaze!!!!! I plan to be out there for 7 days and 6 nights....longer than I've ever been out at one time. I'm practicing for the time when I'll be able to hike to Georgia!!

yep, it's a very heavily modified movable type - i changed the styles around, and got rid of some of the movable type stuff that i didnt need: trackback, calendar, etc...
im still tweaking a few things - like the search function... i should get my act together, two weeks from today i'll be gone :)
