I just wanted to report that I was up on Catawba moutain this past weekend and their was plenty of water on the 311 side. The boy scout shelter was dry but other than that all was good.

Do you know Brier Patch? He is from Catawba. 02 thru hiker I believe was his year. Yours is one of the few sections that made me want to buy a place near the AT there. Awesome, loved Tinker Cliffs despite the constant rain that day.
