SNP Skyline Drive resurfacing

I'll be doing a SoBo of SNP in several weeks. The NPS website notes Skyline Drive resurfacing, and I'm wondering if anyone has had a problem, or anticipates any problems with AT road crossings along the drive.

This note is listed on the website: "For the safety of park visitors, the park has temporarily closed the upper and lower parking areas at Panorama while construction work is occurring. Therefore, the Marys Rock–Appalachian Trail trailhead is closed to all public access and vehicle parking."

This shouldn't cause a problem for someone already on the AT, should it?

No. The AT is still open. You just can't park at Panorama.

And there's no problem for hikers crossing the road.

They were resurfacing when I was there in May this year. Only problem I had was sucking in the fumes when I was on a ridge above the road.
