Red name question

Forgive the dumb question... I looked around for an answer, but never found it.

On the home page, under the Appalachian Trail Enthusiasts Online, some of the names are in RED. What is the significance?

Prolly oughta know that some moderators and admins log on in the "invisible" mode.

It's also worth knowing that moderators may not be the mods for the particular forum a thread is in. If you go to a particular forum, the mods are listed in the lower right corner. So PM'ing a mod with a concern about a post or thread may not help if he or she is not a moderator for that particular forum. The "report post" icon will go to that forum's moderators.
