I know this has already been posted but I can't locate it on the site. I'd like to be able to review a chart showing avaerage daily temps along the AT for the different months of the year. I'd appreciate being pointed to the proper thread. Thanks for any info. NJpacker

This site (http://www.thru-hiker.com/temporal.asp) has graphed info. Don't forget: For every 1000' gain in elevation the temp will fall from 2° F (humid) to over 5° F (dry).

Groucho,
I just returned from a weekend of Wilderness First Aid Training. Pretty awesome course! Thanks for the elevation info. I never factored that info into my guesstamations !! I really appreciate the heads-up. During my hike, I'll be using my WM Highlite and also a silk liner for the colder nights. The Highlite is rated for 40*, but actually sleeps well at colder temps, so I should be OK. Thanks again for the info.
