Hi everyone.
I am planning on taking a month off of school and work in the summer of 2009, probably somewhere between mid may to mid june, to get a good taste of the AT. I am planning on a 2010 thru hike but I thought I should get an idea of what to expect while out there. I am planning on averaging 15-18 miles a day, don't worry, I know I can achieve it. My question for you is what section would you recommend? Maybe some of the more difficult sections? Thank you for your feedback.
