the period cup

Hi, I've heard some recommendations here on WB about the DivaCup or the Keeper, there's one more, but I forget the name. Anyway, have any of you used either of these products? They're the little cup that hangs out in there and collects the blood and then you dump it every few hours. Would you recommend it for a thruhike? Any disasters with them? inconvienences?
