Nice! Thanks for your efforts. Would you recommend the SCA based upon your experience? My daughter is thinking about it for a summer.

That is nice country. I hiked it twice and kayaked and hit some hot springs in that area.
Rarely saw any people up there although you could tell it got busy around hunting season.
Idaho is one of America's best kept secrets. As is northern California.

I lived for a while in Eagle Idaho and miss it pretty badly. Gotta get out there for the summer next year.

Factoid: Idaho has more Federally designated Wilderness acreage than the rest of the lower 48 states combined.

I would definitely recommend SCA (http://www.thesca.org). This was an adult three month crew that I was leader for, but high school crews are equally amazing.

i have submited my sca crew appliaction just last night. i hope i get accepted. if i dont get accepted i dont know what ill do. i learned about the sca by asking the ATC if i can work with their trail crews but they reffered me to the sca. i can wait until this summer. its going to be awsome.
