I have a few pieces I want to do in Maine, but they are mostly down near Rangely/Stratton, quite a haul from Princeton (if Princeton is where I think it is).

Rangeley is about 230-240 miles from Princeton, it's a long drive due to little to ability to use a highway.

Princeton is 230-240 miles from everything. It is the middle of nowhere... most people here don't know what a highway is.

But it's lovely along the lake.
At times I would be gladly pay to be 230 miles from anywhere :)

I've got sections of the "100 miler" to finish myself, and right now have time but no partner, I hate hiking alone...I'm not fast, if you don't mind taking your "mom" along..pm me....:welcome

Dragonfly, I haven't made my annual hike up Katahdin yet this year and was thinking about doing it early in October. I prefer to hike in to Chimney and go up the back side early the next morning and then hike out.

I'm also up for some day hikes in the 100 mile. I know most of the logging roads and with two vehicles it would be a breeze.

PM me if this might be something you'd be interested in.
