I didn’t work today so I spent the day going to Bass Pro Shop, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Gander Mountain and Cabala’s. Gander Mountain has Jetboil pots with the cozy and top cap for $24.00 I was wondering if anyone tried this on other stoves? I don’t want a whole Jetboil stove, but if the pot would work without burning the cozy off it seems like it would be worth adding to my pile of gear.

If I got it I would use it on a Trangia burner mostly, I think the Svea 123 puts out too much flame and may burn it.

Having to take the cozy off it kinda defeats the reason I wanted it.

Thats quite a novel idea for a Trangia pot stand. HHHmmmm I wonder if it would work on the smaller diameter civilian version....I might try it.

A small, narrow piece of aluminum clipped to just 1/2 of the stand's 'wings' to the windward side could be a windscreen too...what did you use?

Would another photo showing stand detail be too much to ask?

Thanks

Here is the pot stand 1/16 thick alum. 4-1/2 long by 1-1/4 hi.
It work on the military ones and the tranga silde both together in the picture the bottom one must be bigger to fit the circle the other a little smaller

I used mine over the fire, alcohol stove, and white gas stove. Take off the covy for cooking, put it back on for eating.
