I thought the idea was silly to have a Whiteblaze Facebook because we have the forum here, and I still do.
However, I have created a Southern Ruck (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=27359032086) and Appalachian Long Distance Hikers Association (http://www.facebook.com/groups.php?ref=sb#/group.php?gid=26249723354) (I hope they don't mind!) group. Both are open to the public and allow posting of pics and videos, etc. which neither of the websites do.
You're all :welcome to join and add content but it should be limited to each group.

I'm pretty sure you need to join. Facebook is pretty cool, you should try it instead of being "an old out-of-the-loop fuddy-duddy"! :p
The ALDHA group all ready has 51 members and SR 14. Not much content yet but, after the Gathering and Ruck I hope members upload stuff.
P.S. Of course, you can still come to the SoRuck if you don't join Facebook.

Yeah, Robert Sylvester. You're not supposed to use nick names on Facebook. I think I "spammed" everyone on my SoRuck mailing list.:D

I joined the ALDHA group, now I guess it is time to join ALDHA. Live way too far south to make it to any get togethers.
