There is a posting on the ALHDA website from Walkin' Jim Stoltz. He is scheduled for a kidney transplant this week. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Especially on Tuesday, as that's the day he'll be having his surgery.

http://www.aldha.org/walknjim.htmThanks for sharing the news about Jim, Mowgli.
I've only met him briefly at Gatherings, and have really enjoyed his amazing
shows there. I know I'll be thinking about him, and the man donating, on Tuesday. For those who'd like to know more about Walkin' Jim:

He put on a great show in Greenville, SC a few months ago, and the experience deeply inspired me to go on a long hike in the wilderness! That was also the night that I decided to do a through hike next year. Thank you Jim and Good luck!!!

Nthadley, Walkin' Jim has been booked by the Foothills Trail Conference for their annual meeting in the fall. They usually hold their meetings at Table Rock State Park off Hwy 11 (40 minutes from Greenville).

Let's hope for a speedy recovery so he can be back on the east coast in 2004 singing, showing his amazing photos, and talking about the issues that threaten wilderness, wildlife, and the hiking experience.
