Tent used in Fast Fly mode

I just got a BA Seedhouse 1 SL for my birthday. I went aheat and ordered the opional foot print so I could try it in the Fast Fly mode. Can anyone tell me how this works during rain, or should I stay with the tent.

During the rain, you will get wet if it blows or becomes horizontal (i.e. driving rain), unless you were to pair this with a waterproof bivy or overbag. Otherwise, if the rain is just coming down vertical, you will be okay.
