North Adams Parking

On Saturday I plan to drive out to North Adams MA mid afternoon and hike into Wilbur Clearing Lean to (Maybe with steaks:D) and then on Sunday morning we will daypack it up to the summit of greylock and hike back down, grab the rest of the stuff and hike out.

I was hoping to park my car at the stop and shop right near the trail, is this frowned upon and is there specific parking available. I assume there is but I have never been to that trail head.

I've parked for a weekend on the side street (Catherine St. ?) off Phelps Road, right where the trail pops out of the woods (heading nobo.) It's a quiet, low-key residential neighborhood. No problems.

I hiked this area recently as a day trip. We parked on a side street too. Don't know the name.
