This coming week, I plan to overnight at Tri-Corner Knob Shelter on Sunday night and Spence Field Shelter on Wednesday night. Can anyone tell me how plentiful the water is in the springs at those shelters? Thanks for your help, Sipper

Unless buliwyf has more information than I do, you best best would be to call the Backcountry Information Office for GSMNP at (865)436-1231.... You will also have to reserve space at those shelters thru them as well....

Definitely call before you make further plans. I think Tri-Corner may be one of the shelters closed because of bear problems.
