Me and 4 of my friends are going through Roan Highlands in mid oct. any know the kind of weather ill get? thanks

15 to 20* cooler than at your house but with much stronger winds. Avg low temp 30-35* Avg high 50 to 55*

Don't know about Mid Oct. But I hiked from Carvers Gap to 19-E 1st Friday & Sat of August and that night I think it got down into the low 40's...so I bet you will see cold weather in Oct...
