I recall seeing some primitive campsites along the trail where it cross the stream not far from the PATC Milesburn cabin. about 5 miles north of Caledonia-
Can anyone give me more detail .

I haven't been there in several years, but I remember them...they're on the right(if you're traveling north)between that cabin and Birch Run Shelters. No water sources, so have plenty of water if you want to camp there. It's really beautiful in that section...lots of coniferous trees. I camped at one of them.
