Download the ALDHA guide for this section and look up the listings. (www.aldha.org) There are lots of motels along Rte. 2, though they're a long walk from the trail. The trail follows Phelps Rd. to Rte. 2 heading north. Turn left (west) at Rte. 2 and start walking... With luck you might be able to call one of the motels and arrange for a pickup at the trailhead.
