I met her on a short section in the Smokies in May and have been following her on trailjournal.com. She was in Maine,maybe 150 miles or so from Katahdin just a few days ago, and seemed to be doing really well but all of a sudden her journal has disappeared, says "Journal entry not found" every time I try it.

you'll get to her page. From there you can switch
from pics to entries in the pulldown menu. Her 9/23
post has her at Caratunk Maine.

I know she was in Maine by 9/23. Her journals stopped appearing after that. She was hiking for a very worthwhile cause and would not just suddenly drop off the trail. And to have her journals suddenly pulled.........there is something not right. She was posting them from a MotoQ herself, not sending them to anyone for transcribing. She is a tiny lady (my size - so I know tiny) and it's just frightening to have her suddenly "disappear" so close to the end of the trail.

If she was in Caratunk on the 23rd, she should be in Monson now. Do you know if she was planning to stay at Shaw's? Why don't you call them at
207 997-3975. Even if she's not there, perhaps you can talk to some hikers staying there and ask about her.

I belive its just some kind of TJ glitch. She was doing fine when I last saw her in Rangley and I had to go home. She should be in the 100 mile wilderness now and cell phone coverage is nonexistant there.

I found a different way into her journal and she's doing fine. She had an entry for yesterday, the 28th. So all is well. :D

She's in the hostel in Millinocket today, still waiting for them to open the trail up to summit Katahdin. I was there last night.
No, but there have been some SOBO peregrines taking advantage of favorable conditions along Kittatinny Ridge lately!

She and I summited together (in a large group of about 60 hikers) on Oct. *-- she posted her journal that day. Maybe a disconnect w/ your computer? Zero
