Anyone tried this stuff, I got a couple of yards free from a construction site. It's website says it perforated Polyelfin. I was thinking of using it for a groundsheet.

The perforated part of that doesn't sound too encouraging.

Okay, what do you mean by free?:-?

Anyhow, what you have is Perforated Polyolefin. It is used in the building trades as a house wrap (moisture barrier) and as a weed fabric for flower beds.
It is also used in diapers and medical dressings.

If what you have is house wrap, it is UV and mildew resistant.
I think it would make a fairly good footprint, it is quite similar to Tyvek.:)
