Was just wondering what the average rate is for a shuttle from Atlanta to amicalola?

I typically ask for $75 from Atlanta Airport to Amicalola.

I don't know the rate from K to Bangor, but I paid around $40 for a shuttle from Monson to Bangor last June.

I am starting the AT a week ahead of you(Feb 15th) so I am sure we will meet on the trail ..If you make it to MAINE you can count on me picking you up at Katahdin and getting you to Bangor etc. I live in Texas but I also have a house in Maine, about 22 miles west of Bangor, that I use in the summer.
My plan is to get to the top of Katahdin on my 60th birthday, Aug 15th ...I see your goal is to be done by Sept. so we will probably be criss crossing a lot..

For the same price as a shuttle, you could take Marta from the airport to the north end of the line and have the folks from the Hiker Hostel pick you up, spend the night, have breakfast, and shuttle to Amicola. www.hikerhostel.com
