Anyone ever met up with a hiker from Baltimore - CW?

We hiked with him a couple of days last October in Southwest Virginia. He has hiked a wealth of places.

I think this is the same guy I hiked with in 2001... did he do the triple crown? PCT, AT, and CDT?
I don't know where he is, but I think he thru hiked in 2001... or he was practicing for the PCT that year.
