I'm from Denver, CO.

I keep to the 12,000 & 13,000-foot peaks because I prefer solitude.

I probably should join the Colorado contingent since there aren't many (if any) of us here in Wyoming.

Added: From the couple pages I read it's a good journal.

Probably Two Speed. :banana I try. :) He just likes bragging because i didn't bail on him eventhough i had infected blisters that made my socks feel like cheese graters for days! I also didn't whine until the last day and it was more like "I want these boots !&#$*%! OFF!"

He is like a walking encyclopedia. It maes for very informational hiking! he is planning to come hike in March/April sometime. :sun Thanks for putting the bug in my ear that I'm adored. :o

Okay, guys. You know that I left my heart in Colorado when I moved over here to the Virginia Highlands. This has been kind of brutal, not being able to "register" as a Colorado member of WhiteBlaze.net, although it used to be just as difficult, not being able to claim proximity to the AT. Now though, I have a challenge for you. Registration began January 1, 2009. It's found at www.epmarathon.org. My daughter is co-director, and it is an awesome event at altitude. How about going up and helping her as a volunteer if you don't want to run it? Look at the pictures, especially of the kids' race. I can't believe that I'm not there. Again, www.epmarathon.org.--Kinnickinic

Based on the number of helpful posts I've seen you post, and the amount of information I've gotten off of your website in the past, you've got to be the most accomplished poser I've ever seen. :)

Old thread...but I just moved back to CO. Lived here 94-98 but didn't do a lot of hiking. Just moved to the Springs in Dec 09 and should be here for another 3 years. Looking forward to the outdoors this time!

Hehe...I took my 10 y/o on a camping trip while we were still in the hotel. Just a quick overnighter off of Rampart Range Road.

And then we had the HF Colorado Winter Hang in Feb...several Colorado hikers there.

Compared to Pagosa, Frisco is a huge metropolis!

Still fun. One of my better memories there was meeting these three friends, all named Dave. Dave 1 had just bought a boat and we spent the next day on Dillon fishing, skiing, drinking, etc.:)

Hello from Arizona.

Pondering a 2011 thru.

Well that was a long time ago. I was set to go in 2012 and I got injured right before I was supposed to head out, so I've rescheduled for 2013.
