So any of you in the Bay area come on out and cheer me on as I fall face first into the Ocean at Point Reyes.

I will be having a Party in the LA area on Friday the 7th so any SO Call folks come out then!

Its almost over....crazy.

Now I will be doing shorter miles and eating more...so much for being in top shape.:D

Hey Lion King, where exactly along the Pt. Reyes Seashore would you be ending the hike? I have relatives in the area that would come down to see you finish. But they tell me there's 50 miles of seashore..............

be there

Directions to Point Reyes:
The end of the American Discovery Trail (ADT) is at Limantour Beach in the Point Reyes National Seashore.
From the south end of the Golden Gate Bridge it is about 40 miles to the Beach. The main Park entrance is at Olema. Take US 1 for a slow (allow at least 2 hrs) winding but picturesque route to Olema or, for a faster route, Take US 101 north to Exit 450 and follow Sir Francis Drake Blvd west to Olema. Take Bear Valley Road to Limantour Beach Road to the end of the road. There is a nice visitor center on Bear Valley Road with great displays, maps, etc.
For info on the Park go to http://www.nps.gov/pore (http://www.nps.gov/pore) and click on "Plan Your Visit". You can download maps.
