I am going to try and do some section hiking this winter in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Southwest Virginia. My gear is pretty well set, but have adjusted my clothing list some from last year and wanted to get your opinion. For what it is worth, I tend to be a cold natured person.

Thanks for your help.

Seems to be alot of redundency here.
You don't need the windshirt, the dome paragon or R1 pants and only need 1 pair of light gloves. Replace the convertable pants with a light pair of shorts...you already have long underwear, down pants and rain pants. If that combo doesn't keep you warm, stay in your sleeping bag in camp....the above combo of lower extremity wear should make you too hot to hike in anything above 20*

I assume you are using some of the same pieces for the different purposes?

I think your list sounds pretty good, similar to what I would use, although I would more than likely use the thermawrap pants as part of my sleeping system. Then again, sometimes it's nice to have a bit of backup warmth depending on your sleeping bag.

I probably would not have a separate hiking hat and sleeping hat, especially since you also have the balaclava. I do try to keep my other sleeping clothing only for that purpose.

As Jim said, you may not need the windshirt since you have the rain jacket, which will also block the wind. Like you, if the temperatures are hitting into the lower 20's, I like an extra set of gloves or mitts over a light pair. And I prefer convertible pants over shorts even for summer use.
