Met these two german guys in april may, they were making a documentary and following this married couple from out west as they tried to through hike the trail...the plan was to meet up with them at the start, middle and end of the trail..for two week intervals....good guys and carried a heck of a lot of gear....anyone heard of them and if they made it?
I have made several post about the couple that they were following. We called them "Team Hollywood" . Not sure if that name stuck or not??? We met them on the second day and hike with them up to Franklin.
Haven't heard a word. I believe I have a pic of them in my photo section.
We called the Germans "Hanz and Franz". Great guys!!!
We also had Sherpa Dan along with them would like to know if he finished???
