changing departure date

Well...we had to go from mar 21 to 4/4.09 for our driving down to GA Date...beginning our thru on 4.5.09. This is due to the benefit of collecting an extra paycheck...which will undoubtedly make our future plans more stable.
It's a bit disappointing to watch the daily countdown on my cpu go from 141 to 155 days...but it is the way it is...maybe it'll be a bit warmer b4 departure also.

If there is anyone heading down by car on 4/4 or even 4/3 and will be passing thru Woodstock VA on I81 let me know...we may be interested in sharing cost with you if u have room for two more!

It's not a big thing, just a thing. Any start in late March or early April is good....it will all depend on the weather and I have seen it literally at 80F and 28F, so what? Be prepared and say hi as you pass by.

True, it can snow then or be great weather. Take your pick. But anyway, it will be a great hike.
