It's where I hang when WB is down.
Given a handful of overactive moderators/censors, it might not be long when people will say they hang here when HQ is down. Rather odd that some of the most active moderators have been members here for a relatively short time and that those who've been members here longer tend to let adults say what they want without censorship.

could this be that old hack where some malware changes the DNS server to be a specific hacker site instead of being automatic? Often that whould show up as some sites that could not be reached.

well i do not know but i am about to get back online with embarq, our internet provider for Damascus because Lone Wolf even tried at Mojo's and could not get on and then i called a friend and asked her to check it out and she can't get on?
i went to embarq this morning and they were trying to tell me it was in my anti virus that was blocking it. my AVG is not blocking any of my chosen websites.
this is what embarq just told me and if this is true you guys better get ready to see a change in the whole internet if they can't get their problems worked out......
"Unfortunately, there is currently an issue between Sprint and Cogent that is preventing communication between the two. This is affecting many customers on the internet, including some Embarq customers. Unfortunately, there is currently no workaround. As this is not an issue with Embarq's equipment or connection, we currently have no way of fixing this but we are working with Sprint and Cogent to restore communication as quickly as possible."
Man...that stinks!!! I have a crap internet service too with no options for another. I know how big of a headache it can be. Good Luck. At least we'll still get to chat on WB until you get service.

I use a Sprint aircard and HQ was the only site that I could'nt open...now I know why, thanks.

Shut off your computer completely and then turn it back on. That's what I do with glitches. May want to run a scan too.

LW I had a little white box popping up for a day last week telling me :HQ not available"
I cleaned out my history and cookies and finally ran a google search for HQ and then entered that way. I haven't had any problems since.
