Is anyone interested in hiking Greenhorn Mountain (12,346ft) south of Pueblo on Saturday the 8th of November if the weather holds? Would be looking at leaving Pueblo early in the morning. From the trailhead on the north west side of the mountain we would go around to the west ridge of the south peak and scramble up it than take an easy loop back across the other peaks before heading down.

Directions: We will go to the Ophir Creek Turnoff, just north of Bishop's Castle on State Highway 165 and go west on Forest Road 360 to the intersection with the Gardner Road (FR 634). There we will turn left on FR 369 and followed that to the trailhead at the end of the road. It is a long road with many twists and turns and you don't even see Greenhorn Mountain itself until you are almost on it. There are quite a number of hiking trails leading off along the way and all of it looks gorgeous.
