Not sure if this has been discussed before, I searched and didn't see anything. Here's the deal. If you go to live.com and do a search for an item on ebay and if you buy the item using the BIN button (if there is one) MS will give you 30% back on your purchase price! It does take 60 days to get your money but it does work. So, if you are buying a lot of gear or other stuff you can save quite a bit of coin by doing this. To qualify the auction must have the icon for the live.com 30% savings and you must use BIN. They will tell you during the payment process if the item will qualify.
who is this MS you reference that will give a 30% rebate?
gotcha, I was thinking MinnesotaSmith had won the lotto or something.....

Go to http://live.com and in the search box, enter the item that you are wanting to purchase. If there are any items on ebay that qualify, they will show up at the top of the list or results. To buy the item, you need to use the Buy It Now feature. Before you pay, make sure that it says that the purchase will qualify.
wow, thanks for the heads up! You can also get cashback from some online retailers (backcountry.com for instance is 12.5%) ...hmmmmm... this is interesting. Thanks for the tip!
