Ok so I'm going to start this and see how it goes.
The way Pay It Forward works- Someone offers up something that they have that is hiking related, and then another person calls dibs on that item. Then in return they offer up an item in order to Pay it Forward. You must offer something up when you call DIBS or have previously offered something up without taking anything yet.
These items cannot be offered up for money, it has to be in good will. The person who offers up the item is in charge of the shipping, and lets try to keep this within the Continental US if at all possible to avoid crazy shipping costs. The more people that offer things up the better this works. If only one or two people participate people tend to run out of stuff and it dies off.
So to start off small I'm going to offer up a MSR Medium Stainless Steel Stow Pot.
If this gets going pretty well I have a bunch of other stuff as well as 2 or 3 BIG ITEMS I'll offer up.
