Thanks for the note. I'm planning on doing some serious milage days, as soon as I get a week under my belt to get trail ready. It would be nice to get to know some people before we all get out there. Keep in touch. I'm told, you never know who you might end up hiking with!

Hope getting ready for the trail includes running sand dunes on the beach with a full pack ! <G> Starting on first of month or a weekend, usually will put you in a group on NOBO's.
Lots of sand and road work w/loaded pack.

sloth, just noticed your from pensicola, I spend a lot of time in Destin if u want to meet up and talk trail. Ill be staring around 10 to 15 mpd, and steadily increase. even if we decide to hike seperate I can still give you a ride from birmingham.
