I am a pretty regular, but large build 23 year old male and need a pair of gloves.

What size am I, or how do I figure it out? Ahhhhh!

Thank you! Also, any suggestions on a decent pair of gloves?

try them on, if the gloves don't fit you must acquit

Best guess from your sock size?

Take a guess at two sizes and return the one that doesn't fit.

Look for a sizing chart on the website, usually there is one.

If your buying from ebay, go to the website of the gloves you're buying.

forget online, go to the army navy surplus and try on a few pairs, get the wool liners and maybe the leather overs. They're very warm even when when wet, cheap, and reasonably water resistant if you oil up the gloves with neatsfoot oil. But to your question, I have medium size hands, size 9 ring and I wear a 4 or 5 army glove, 5 is a little big. If I buy a pair of work gloves, medium fits me better than large.

I have an idea. Don't buy gloves. Use your hiking socks on your hands. They are much warmer and you already have them. See? Problem solved.
