Is there a way to know why a thread is closed/locked?

Sometimes, it would depend on the reason(s). You would need to PM the mods for the forum the thread was in or an admin.

Is there a way to know the moderators of the various forums? Thanks

Is there a way to know the moderators of the various forums? ThanksIf you click on Forum on the menu bar, it takes you here (http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/index.php). Click on the specfic forum the thread is in and at the bottom of the page the mods are listed.

Alternatively, the location of where you currently are within WB is listed above under the WB.net graphic. Just to the left of the thread title is a direct link to the forum page mentioned. (This is easier.)

Its usually obvious.

Seems like most mods have a last post which explains why the thread is closed. That should probably be a site policy for all closures.
