View Full Version : Maddron Bald trailhead
I want to leave a car overnight at the base of the Maddron Bald Trail. The little brown book advises that there has been some vandalism of cars there and maybe we should park elsewhere.
Does anyone have any recent knowledge or advice about this?
Consider parking at Big Creek or having Curtis shuttle you.

You can also park at the Yogi's campground just past the turn for the trailhead on 321 (if you are coming from Cosby). They charge around $5 and the car would be safer on their property than the trailhead. It is just about a 10 minute walk or less to the trailhead from there.

The brown book recommended parking somewhere nearby that would charge a small fee. I suspect that's what they're talking about. Thanks!
