I'm beginning to wonder whats going to be the case with hikers taking buses or trains to Georgia or where ever, now that the Terrorists have struck in Spain? I read that there is going to a bigger and more intrusive police presence at the nation's transportation centers. Last year when I caught the bus out of Columbus, Ohio, there was a body patdown search of people getting on the bus, just because there was a terror alert in the country. I had my presciptions just put into a baggie which they found in my pack and it took me forever to get that straightedned out, because I didn't know that you had to have them in the bottle with the labels. I'm wondering now if you're carrying a backpack into the bus or train station, will you be under even more scrutiny now? If so, you might want to make sure that you don't have anything ILLEGAL in your pack.
Because according to the news reports, they're gonna be really looking at people with backpacks and dufflebags.
