Well...this is a happy hour type of thing...so if you want to get you're buzz on before then hit the parking lot of DBT then take a couple shots at Ed Boudreaux's then pick up some cougars at Hannah Flannigan's then go back to Ed's for a Jager Bomb then back to the parking lot and then hit the Peel you might have time.:)

I do like DBT, but its a school night.

Can't be there either but we will toast from GA. We still have all our stuff in storage in Asheville and intend to relocate back there when we find jobs....keep your fingers crossed (please feel free to send any job opportunities our way!). Silver Potato & Cracker....."The House of Paine"

It's Tuesday - the second one of the month, to be precise - which means it's A.T. Hiker night at Jack of the Wood.

Here's info sent out earlier today:
Tonight’s second-Tuesday gathering of hikers at Jack of the Wood on Patton Ave.. I hope you can still make it. Celebrate the sun by raising your pint tonight. We’ll gather by 6 p.m.-ish tonight.

In case you can’t make it, here are a couple of upcoming A.T. events and a job posting for the Asheville office.

This weekend: May 15-17 – Trails Day in Damascus, VA. There you can also sign up to join Tennessee Eastman Hiking Club for two-days of volunteering with Hard Core (May 17-18).

This Saturday, May 16 at 6 p.m.: Diamond Brand Spring Fashion Show, benefiting the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. The fashion show will include designs from The North Face, Patagonia, Skirt Sports, Lole, Mountain Hardware and more. Expect a live band, raffle of clothing and gear, refreshments, and free beer from Asheville Pizza and Brewing Co. with a purchase of a pint glass ($6 each with sales going to ATC). Plus, if you donate to ATC at the event, you’ll receive a $20 Diamond Brand Gift Card.

ATC is hiring a Resource Management Coordinator. This is a full-time temporary position (June – December). The complete position description is found here: http://www.appalachiantrail.org/resourcemgmt (http://www.appalachiantrail.org/resourcemgmt).

So.....am I to assume that this is a regular thing on the second Tuesday every month? I'll have to drive up the hill to join in sometime.
