So Wakapak and I were having luch today at Early Girl Eatery. There was a couple sitting next to us talking about hiking trails around the Parkway. The guy asked us about the trails in the area and we showed them some on the map they had. He told us about hiking the AT and we told him we had just finished, so we exchanged trail names. It was funny to randomly meet a former thruhiker. So he left and came back with a copy of a book. I saw the title Walking with Pacence, and asked if that was him. I had read parts of his book when I was reseaching the AT. He said that it was and was surprised that I had heard of it. So we met Jarrett Krentzel and talked with him about life after the trail and some of our favorite moments. It was great to talk to someone about the experience. So get a copy of his book, Walking with Pacence. I cant wait to pick it up and start on it! Really cool morning here in Asheville.

Early Girl Eatery DOES rock! Hopefully Cracker and I will get back to Asheville soon....we miss it. We would love to run into thru-hikers like you Colonel Chaco and Sunday (who hiked SOBO with us and visited Asheville and stayed).
