Say hello to my little friend!!
A friend with weed is a friend indeed ;) Have met many on the trail.
OK, lets try and get this back on track like The Weasel intended it to be.

I haven't met any long term friends on the trail, but I have met some really awesome folk. The talks we had have stuck with me ever since we met, and they've been from all over the country.

Tom and Jeff at Mount Rogers Outfitters and Steve and Tom at Sundog Outfitters in Damascus were super friendly and helpful and fun to talk with when Cathy and I went backpacking for the FIRST time in April '06.
While hiking south the 42 miles back to Damascus we really enjoyed chatting with all the friendly hikers who were heading north. What a great intro to the AT that experience was.
I am heading north from Spring this March. Will hike for 5 weeks.

Only good friends would have let me leave them all on top of Roan Mountian to start a hike in the foulest weather you can imagine!!! What a crew!
