As of Dec. 10, 2008 - There is currently a high gust wind advisory for Tennessee, North Caorlina, and Virginia. Mountain top winds will exceed 50-60+ mph with heavy rain.

I spent Sunday night (the 7th) where the trail crosses Fish Hatchery Rd just south of the Priest Shelter and the wind was a-HOWLIN! Thought it was going to blow me off the mountain!

Yea froze my *** off on top of Shanendoah one year due to the wind in April. Hope there isn't anyone out there.
