Atlanta has The Gear Revival (http://thegearrevival.com/index.html). Nice folks and I've found some incredible deals from a handful of visits to their store.

I don't think they buy gear themselves. I think people just leave gear there and they take a percentage when it sells.

That makes more sense...but not being nearby it would sorta freak me out. Wonder if we have anything like that in my neck of the woods....I'm gonna have to start checkin.

I come to Columbia fairly often for work. I am definitely hitting that up next time. I always swing by the Backpacker.
