Zoombak

Has anyone seen the TV advertisements for Zoombak. I guess it's similar to SPOT, but seems to be smaller although I don't know what kind of batteries or charger it requires. This is too expensive for me right now, but it is an item I might consider if I were to go for an extended hike since my wife worries so much.

Does anyone use one of these gizmos? What do you think?
