well, ladies, I had a heck of a time finding the right bra/underwear for my March thru-hike, but I think I found them. If you have these and like/them or dislike them I'd love to hear your thoughts. Also, I was trying not to break the bank. Or if you have suggestions for the future if I don't like these, or just ones that you like, cool.

For undies, I got Mt. Hardwear advance Lightweight briefs. They're anti-chafe with flat seams and anti-microbial. $14 each

As far as bras go, I have a heck of time finding ones that fit because I'm an A cup. For some reason, A cups tend to not have any shape, and as they call it "modesty", just because my boobs are small, doesnt mean I want everyone to know when I'm cold. And, I was going for the non- uniboob sports bra look.

I ended up with the Nike women's Skinny Seamless Bra. $23 each

This is discussed a lot here. Check out this forum from last spring http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php?t=34625 to see what everyone says. I don't have your A cup problem, but I do have the one about being cold. Nothing really helps that one.

You don't really need to get any special and expensive hiking underwear - it's not necessary. I go to walmart and buy light cheap nylon underwear for about a buck or two. It's comfortable, washes out easily and dries fast. At the end of my hike, if necessary, I can toss it. Usually it lasts pretty well. Cotton at the crotch prevents bacteria growth - at least, in all my years of hiking, I've never had a problem.

Same with bra - I just wear what I usually wear. I don't wear a sports bra. When I was thin I often didn't bother with a bra, but usually the first place I gain weight is my bust and I'm pretty fat right now. Besides, the older I get, the more gravity affects me. So I haven't hiked braless for a few years. I would if I could tho.
