Where is the nearest place to Springer Mt. to drop off a rental car and what is the cheapest way to get from there to the trailhead? Thanks

Did a google. There are Enterprises and Alamo's around Elijay and Blue Ridge.

Will Enterprise drop you off?I have been dropped off when using Enterprise, but don't know if they will drop you that far. I looked into a one way rental with enterprise this summer and they wanted a lot for the one way fee.

A neibhorhood rental location will likely drop you or be close enough to the appropriate MARTA station in Atlanta to have Josh & Leigh pick you up & take you to the Hiker Hostel as part of their package deal to get you started on the trail. I've had great luck with Enterprise and pickups/drop offs.
For that matter you can drop most any brand at the Atlanta airport, take MARTA to the appropriate station and then have the HH pick you up.
Check the Hiker Hostel website for the appropriate MARTA station & starter pkg.

There is an Enterprise Rental Car place in Dahlonega, GA. It is probably as close as Enterprise if there is one in Ellijay. One of the several shuttlers would probably shuttle you from there.
