The man may be right. Her existence has yet to be confirmed via photographic evidence. Some say she got a thorn in her on the trail and just deflated.

I met a Faithwalker at Blue Mtn. in Georgia a couple of years ago. Whether or not this is the Faithwalker I don't know.

Did she look like the kind of girl who would walk with MS?

Did she look like the kind of girl who would walk with MS?I only met MS in passing on the south side of Cube Mtn. and exchanged greetings so I couldn't say for sure, but I think this Faithwalker being into him could be a possibility. She looked about the right age at least.

Why?

Leave this woman alone. She made an attempt, and that's more than most on this site can say.

I'd say the chances for the thread originator is 100%.

Save the wisecracks for the deserving.

That's mighty big of you. But really - I could care less. I'm a big boy and can take criticism. Picking on a woman with health issues who attempted a long distance hike? That's simply poor form.

Just to be clear, I closed it. Faithwalker, who is a member of this site, can contact me if she would like it reopened.
