Hey Guys,

Just a quick note for those of you who haven't already heard. I recently released a new free chapter from the upcoming Pacific Crest Trail Atlas 2nd Edition... which will feature the first complete set of FULL-COLOR Maps for the Pacific Crest Trail ever, plus all the other goodies from the original PCT Atlas, and a few new things too.

The Complete 5-Book set will be ready in time for this year's hiking season.

And don't forget to send me your feedback and suggestions. Since the beginning the PCT Atlas has been a collaborative effort and without all the great advice and support from the hiker community it never would have come this far.

Howdy Whiteblazers!'

Thought you might like to know that I opened the doors for pre orders for the new PCT Atlas 2nd Edition today. I'm offering a special discount to the first 100 people who pre order the complete set. But it looks like it's not going to last long. We went live at 12 pacific, a little under four hours ago and already almost halfway sold out.

If you're planning a PCT hike you'll definitely want to go here and check it out: http://www.pctatlas.com/letter.htm

Happy Trails!

I'm telling you...these maps make me want to hike the trail again. ;)

One cool thing about modern times and technology: It is very easy for people to market and produce items for a small niche market.

Ten years ago..something like these maps would not have really been possible in terms of marketing.

They are about the same price for the total collection of the AT maps, so the price is reasonable. Heck, I think of how much I spent printing out my CDT maps and there is no comparison. :D

Good job..and good luck!

Thanks Mags!

I agree about technology. It's getting pretty crazy. If you would have told me ten years ago that I could sit in my kitchen in my pajamas all day sending out emails and posting on web pages, and manage to reach thousands of people, I never would have believed it.

At this point-- are you able to put a date on when they will ship?
FWIW--I have already placed an order.
Thanks for the help.
