Thanks for the link. Also, the Keystone Trails Assoc. with the Dept. of Natural Conservation Resources have a new program that awards hikers who walk every mile of several designated trails in Penn. (about 700 miles worth). The KTA has several smaller awards as well, including one for anyone who has hiked the entire length of the AT in Penn.

Also, there is now a continuous footpath from Pittsburgh to DC, which uses the C&O cannal towpath and connects to the AT at Harper Ferry.

Keystone Trails Association is one of the best places to get information on Pa. trails. They have great things going with the DCNR.

Hiking week: DCNR has once again teamed with the Keystone Trails Association (KTA) (http://www.kta-hike.org/) to offer nearly 100 organized hikes and walks available throughout Pennsylvania during the nine-day event. May 10-18,2004

I truly believe everyone who hikes and lives in this region should belong to the KTA! Membership helps to fund projects and everyone who loves the outdoors get to enjoys the benefits.

I just love that dancing banana. !!
