Too bad pack goats aren't legal on the AT!
unless they are service animals
In September, I ran into a guy doing a long section hike on the AT (from MA to VA?) named Moses who was hiking with a man named Shephard, who was hiking with his goat, Ali-Bah-Bah
Hams, Hammocks, and Goats. I would have never thought of that combination.

Thats pretty cool. My only thought is that the goats will be taking more time eating than hiking.
But this last summer, I was part of a multi-organization group that help bring in goats on Jane Bald on Roan Mountain. We were trying to get the goats to help eat some of the growth down to help keep the balds open.
