At the moment, many of the mountain counties are under a travel advisory. Much of the main highways are driveable, but the side and mountain roads are ice and snow covered.

Elk Park - 19E & Newland Highway clear in most parts. Side roads iced over.
Carvers Gap - drive at your own risk after Roan Mtn Park
Dennis Cove - Bob Peoples reported of around 5-6 inches of snow on ground. Dennis Cove Road iced over.

"The brothers" left Standing Bear this morning heading south into GSMNP. Doing 18 to Tri-corner knob. I'm jealous.
